It was another "best ever year" for students at Princes Risborough School, in Merton Road.
Having gained the school’s best ever A Level/BTEC results in 2016, head teacher Pete Rowe said he knew that with the new reforms and the "uncertainty" around them, it would be a difficult act to follow.
He said: “Improving on last year was always going to be a huge challenge but I am so impressed that students and staff have risen to that challenge and have indeed exceeded last year’s outcomes.
“One hundred percent of our students have passed, our A* - C rate has increased by two per cent and our A* - B rate remains at its record levels.
“A massive eight per cent improvement in A*/A grade equivalents in BTECs – 80 per cent of all students – has meant that our students are taking up both academic and vocational courses and apprenticeships having got their first choice places confirmed this morning.
“A really positive set of results for PRS.”
