A man who was hit by a train near Princes Risborough railway station last week has been formally identified by the coroner's court.
Lewis Colgan, 30, died on Friday, September 15 and an inquest has now been opened into his death.
Officers from British Transport Police and an ambulance crew from South Central Ambulance Service were called to the station at around 4.10pm after receiving reports that a person had been struck by a train.
Mr Colgan, who lived in Lower Road, Stoke Mandeville, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His death is not being treated as suspicious.
