A coffee and fashion morning in Marlow raised more than £1,300 for charity.
Danesfield House played host to around 60 people, who turned out to watch a fashion show last Thursday (September 14) while raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Models showcased clothes from major chains with stores in marlow, including Swish, Rylko, Really Wild, The White Company and Jigsaw.
Marlow mayor Cllr Jocelyn Towns, who chose Macmillan Cancer Support as one of her mayor’s charities this year, praised staff at the Henley Road venue for being a “delight” during the ‘coffee, fashion and chat’ morning.
She said: “It was a lovely relaxed atmosphere and a great way to view the clothes.
“A big thank you to all who came, and special thanks to Danesfield House Hotel – their staff were a delight.”
Cllr Towns was joined by town clerk Hilary Martin, who helped organise the event, Sally Carter, Macmillan’s Marlow representative, and former town clerk Annie Jones.
