Protesters gathered to mark the year anniversary since some vascular services left Wycombe Hospital on Wednesday.
In support of the Save Wycombe Hospital group, dozens of campaigners held banners and posters explaining how the hospital had helped them at lunch time on September 27.
Healthcare campaigner Ozma Hafiz says vulnerable patients now have to travel to Oxford for operations that were “performing well locally” at Wycombe before.
She said: "The vascular issue deserves a dissertation. However, in short, these operations were performing well locally and were part of a successful staff rotation with Oxford.
"Local clinical outcomes were ignored, we weren’t given the expected consultation for carotid endarterectomies and now some of our most vulnerable patients have to travel all the way to and from Oxford for this surgery."
