A guitar donated by rock legend Ozzy Osbourne will be auctioned off for a hospice charity during a concert at a south Bucks school.

The Black Sabbath singer gave The South Bucks Community Hospice two guitars, one of which, a signed LAG Tramontane, will go on sale to the highest bidder at the  event at Pipers Corner School, in Great Kingshill.

The concert has been arranged by Pipers Corner’s guitar teacher Mark Campbell, whose 62-year-old terminally ill father Ian, who suffers from motor neurone disease, has been treated by the hospice at Butterfly House, in High Wycombe.

He said: “I wanted to give something back because [the hospice] has done a really wonderful job looking after my father.

“Ozzy Osbourne is a legend and it’s fantastic he has donated these guitars. I hope we will raise a lot of money as a result to help the hospice treat patients with life-limiting illnesses.”

The concert will start at 7.30pm at the school on Friday, October 13. Tickets cost £5 and can be bought at www.piperscorner.co.uk/our-school/ box-office.
