An injured man had to be cut free from the wreckage of a lorry crash in the London Road yesterday evening.

Emergency services were called to the scene in High Wycombe at 7.04pm after 999 reports of a pile-up involving a lorry and two cars.

Firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment to release one injured man from a vehicle.

He was left in the care of South Central Ambulance Service along with another man and a woman who were reportedly suffering from shock.

The authorities have not yet confirmed the man’s current condition.
