LEISURE centre users will be charged for missing exercise classes in Oxford.
From next Monday members of Oxford City Council's leisure centres, operated by Fusion Leisure, will have to pay a fee if they do not attend a class they have booked or fail to cancel more than four hours before the start time.
The fee will depend on the standard price of the class and applies at venues such as the Leys Pool and Leisure Centre and and Ferry Leisure Centre in Summertown.
A statement from Fusion said the changes have been introduced to 'give all our members a fair opportunity to attend a class.'
