ORIGINAL songs based on women's real-life experiences of the First World War will be performed at a one-off concert this week.
Singer Louise Jordan will perform her one woman show 'No Petticoats Here' at the Cornerstone Arts Centre in Didcot on Wednesday.
The concert is based on 12 months of research including trips to the battlefields of France and Belgium to discover the true stories including that of Dorothy Lawrence, a journalist who dressed as a soldier in order to visit the Western Front.
Tickets are £12 and are available at www.cornerstone-arts.org.
