AN OXFORD chef has been awarded a gong at an industry bash.
Sean Campbell, is a chef manager for BaxterStorey, which provides hospitality around the Thames Valley.
He has 17 years experience working in the catering industry. His winning dishes included a lamb rump, served with heritage pumpkin, baby cabbage, pickled beets and rainbow chard.
Mr Campbell said of winning the BaxterStorey prize: “I am overwhelmed to have been recognised as Chef Manager of the Year at a national level against tough opposition. I am passionate about using local ingredients and the win is testament to the outstanding produce we have.”
