Joel Dommett, who was on the last series of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, is coming to Wycombe on October 28 to perform at the Swan as part of his Joel Dommett: Live tour.

Joel Dommett: Live is the comedian’s biggest tour to date, with sell-out shows across the UK since it began with a two night run at London’s Hammersmith Apollo in September.

Dommett burst onto the comedy scene in 2007 and quickly established himself as one of the most exciting comedians on the circuit.

He has become a regular on national television, from reaching the finals in 2016’s I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! (ITV), being a regular panelist on Sky 1’s Bring the Noise alongside Nicole Scherzinger, to presenting Live In Chelsea, the live E4 after-show to the hit series Made In Chelsea.

Dommett explained that he is loving the tour. He said: “I’m really enjoying it. Everyone keeps on saying to me ‘you must absolutely hate it, you must be really bored of the show’.

“No, I think it just gets better and better, and I’m enjoying it more. I’ve taken my best friend Steve as my tour manager, we’ve known each other since we were 11, so we’re like two little kids – we’re both very giddy.

“I’m travelling around the UK with my best friend performing to people who actually want to see me. It’s a dream come true.”

Dommett has been used to performing at intimate comedy clubs but is loving the fact he is able to perform at some of the UK’s most iconic venues.

He added: “It’s kind of perfect, actually. My shows, weirdly, have always been quite big, but whereas before they were kind of ironically big in small venues, now they just fit the bigger rooms.

“I’m fully aware that this reality TV thing might be a small bubble and that bubble might burst, so I’ve got to do my absolute best to deliver a show beyond people’s expectations.”

Joel Dommett will perform live at the Wycombe Swan on October 28.
