Firefighters removed 30 loose corrugated metal sheets from scaffolding in high winds at the weekend, as Storm Brian hit the county.
Crews from High Wycombe were called out to Amersham Drive, High Wycombe, on Saturday at 1.23pm, with Storm Brian causing havoc with gusts of up to 70mph and an average wind speed of 40mph.
Emergency services issued safety advice ahead of the storm, which was expected to hit south Bucks early Saturday morning.
The Met Office issued a severe weather warning covering the Thames Valley, and police said they were expecting a “significant” increase in calls over the weekend, while Bucks Fire and Rescue issued road safety advice, asking people to “take great care” when driving in the dark in areas that were flooded.
