Arrival of new home improvement warehouse to create 30 jobs
A home improvement and garden retailer will open a new warehouse in Loudwater next year - creating 30 jobs.
Bunnings Warehouse will open in place of Homebase - which is in the process of shutting down - in Knaves Beech Retail Park in early 2018.
The Australian company acquired Homebase for £340 million in February 2016 – and plans to invest a further £500 million building a new Bunnings Warehouse business in the UK and Ireland over a five-year plus timeframe.
It has not yet been confirmed what will happen to the Homebase store on London Road, however, the new warehouse in Loudwater will create 30 full and part time jobs.
