THE murder of Elsenham mother of two Julie Foster will be featured on BBC's Crimewatch onThursday September 27.

A film crew was in Elsenham to film a reconstruction of events leading up to Mrs Foster's death.

As well as the reconstruction the programme will include a renewed plea for three potential witnesses to come forward.

The first is the driver of a red L or M registered transit style van seen in Stansted Road on July 9 or 10 at about 2am.

The second is a man seen running along Station Road at about 6am on July 10. He is white, aged 25 to 35, with short fair hair and was carrying a white plastic bag.

The third is a man seen using a mobile phone in Leigh Road, Elsenham, on two evenings at the beginning of July and again after July 10. He is in his mid 20s with short brown wavy hair.

Mrs Foster was bludgeoned to death while she slept at her home in Stansted Road on July 10 in what police called a "horrific and sustained attack". Her body was found by her eight-year-old son Jay who called the police.

A man arrested later that day was released without charge.
