A Vietnamese national who died in Friday’s horror mid-air crash has been named by Vietnamese authorities.

Nguyen Thanh Trung was reportedly training with Captain Michael Green, who also sadly died in the crash, on a two-month programme.

He was a 32-year-old father with years of flying experience under his belt, according to reports.

The tail of the Cabri G2 helicopter was clipped by the descending two-seater Cessna 152 at a height of around 1,000ft, Vietnam's ministry of defence said in a statement.

Captain Trung, a father-of- was reportedly a deputy manager of a Vietnamese Army training centre and was in the UK to become a military flight instructor.

Four men were killed in the crash, which happened over Upper Winchenden, with the helicopter and plane taking off from Wycombe Air Park.

Police confirmed the aircraft have now been removed and officers have left the site.
