Parents mourning the loss of their beloved eight-year-old daughter have set up a toy shop in her memory to raise money for charity.

All profits from Life is Like a Butterfly, in Bull Lane, High Wycombe, will go towards helping Child Bereavement UK and the foundation Life is Like a Butterfly.

The shop and the foundation has been set up by the parents of Olivia Chandler, who sadly died in 2010 after suffering an asthma attack.

The eight-year-old, who was at Ash Hill Primary School when she passed away, was described as "much-loved and happy".

Her dad Darren told the Bucks Free Press that he and his wife Teresa are in the process of setting up the Life is Like a Butterfly foundation, which will offer holidays for bereaved families.

All profits from the toy shop will be split between Child Bereavement UK, who supported the family after the loss of Olivia, and the new charity.

He said: “We have often donated to Child Bereavement UK but we always wanted to do something for Olivia.”
