UPDATE: CRASH HORROR - Teens arrested after car 'driven at schoolboy' in hit-and-run'
A male pedestrian was left with serious injuries after being hit by a car in High Wycombe yesterday.
Emergency crews and an air ambulance were called to the crash scene in Hennerton Way yesterday afternoon after 999 reports.
South Central Ambulance Service has now confirmed a male was hit by a car and was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital suffering from serious injuries.
Pictures from the scene show a car rolled over on its side, while the air ambulance landed on a school field when attending the incident.
A spokesman for Highcrest Academy confirmed that an air ambulance landed on their field - which is reportedly the nearest open space - but the incident did not happen on the school site.
