There are long delays on the motorway this evening after a car overturned between Beaconsfield and Loudwater on the M40.
Queues of cars have been stuck in traffic because of the crash between junction 2 and 3, with emergency services at the scene removing the wreckage.
It is not yet known if any other vehicles were involved or if anyone has been hurt.
Lanes three and four (of four) were closed after all traffic had been temporarily held for around 15 minutes to allow debris to be cleared from the carriageway.
The accident has now been cleared from the main carriageways.
All lanes open and collision cleared on the #M40 northbound between J2 and J3 #Buckinghamshire. Vehicles involved in earlier collision now recovered and earlier delays cleared also. Have a safe journey.
