A south Bucks town had the third highest level of snowfall in the UK.
High Wycombe saw 17cm (6.6 inches) of snow yesterday (Sunday), which caused mayhem around the town and county, with trains cancelled and drivers leaving cars stranded on the M40.
The Met Office confirmed High Wycombe had the third highest level of snow in the country, behind Sennybridge, in Wales, which saw 32cm, and Hereford, which saw 18cm.
The weather service has issued a yellow warning of snow and ice for the south east, including Buckinghamshire, with a mix of rain and sleet expected to make driving conditions difficult.
