Residents are being asked to have their say on a new development in south Bucks, which could see a number of buildings torn down for more than 30 new apartments.

Developers want to knock down buildings around historic Burleighfield House, off London Road, Loudwater, and build 33 one and two bedroom flats in four apartment blocks.

The new development, which is located within the Green Belt, would also have 59 car parking spaces, with Inland Homes saying 40 per cent of the new homes would be affordable.

Bosses said the development would reduce pressure to build on undeveloped Green Belt sites as proposed in Wycombe District Council’s Local Plan, and create “new ecological habits” as a result.

Burleighfield House is a former mansion house now used as a office block.

Residents living near the proposed development have until January 22 to have their say. Inland Homes said flyers have been posted to neighbours.
