A show celebrating musical icon Bob Marley will roll into town this month.

Legend, The Music of Bob Marley, will come to Wycombe Swan on January 28, with organisers promising audiences an “unforgettable evening”.

Combining the reggae music legend’s distinctive vocals with “flawless musicianship”, the cast will recreate timeless hits including Could You Be Loved, Is This Love, One Love, No Woman No Cry, Three Little Birds, Jammin’, Buffalo Soldier, Stir It Up, Get Up Stand Up, Exodus, Waiting in Vain, Satisfy My Soul, Iron Lion Zion, I Shot the Sheriff and many more. 

A spokesman said: “The two-hour rasta spectacular showcasing the magic of Marley, will leave audiences on a natural high. 

“Legend – The Music of Bob Marley captures the charisma and culture of an icon gone too soon.”

Born in Jamaica in 1945, the star was posthumously inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame in 1994. In December 1999 his 1977 album Exodus was named album of the century by Time Magazine his song One Love was christened song of the millennium by the BBC.

He also had the Grammy’s lifetime achievement award bestowed on him in 2001 and was given the 2171st star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame by the Hollywood Historic Trust and the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.
