Former Strictly Come Dancing stars James and Ola Jordan have postponed their UK tour after James suffered an injury during rehearsals.

The pair have apologised to fans after being forced to postpone Uncensored, which was set to come to Wycombe Swan on March 12.

Organisers said it was due to an “unforeseen required extension to the recovery” of an injury James suffered during rehearsals for the show.

James and Ola said in a statement: “We are devastated that James’ operation has caused us to postpone our tour as we were both so excited to dance together again for you all.

“We are so sorry to be letting so many people down - not only those who purchased tickets but all the cast and people that have helped work on the show to create something special.

“We hope you understand that health always comes first and hope for your continuous support in any of our future endeavours.”

James said he felt “terrible” in an Instagram post, saying postponing the tour “breaks my heart” and that he had suffered a double inguinal hernia which he had to have an operation on.

He wrote:“Everyone has been so understanding and we have had so many kind messages already which means a lot.

“I feel terrible I have let so many people down especially the amazing cast of dancers we had lined up from all round the world. I can't even begin to tell you how fantastic they are, totally blew my mind.

“I believe everything happens for a reason although I don't know what that reason is yet. All of you who bought tickets, firstly thank you for your support.”

Those who have bought tickets are expected to receive a full refund. Call the Wycombe Swan ticket office on 01494 512000 for details.
