A man has been banned from having opened alcohol or being drunk in High Wycombe town centre by police.
Alan Rosen, 44, from Buckingham Drive, has been slapped with a criminal behaviour order (CBO) which will stay in place for two years.
It prevents him from being in possession of any unsealed container of alcohol and being in a state of intoxication while in the prohibition zone, which covers the town centre including Sainsbury's on Oxford Road, Frogmoor, Castle Street and the Eden Shopping Centre.
He is also required to attend appointments for alcohol treatment as structured by One Recovery Bucks.
If he breaches any of the conditions, he could be fined or sent to prison.
PC Vikki Overson, the Anti-Social Behaviour Officer based at High Wycombe, said, “The CBO was sought as a result of Alan Rosen persistently acting in an anti-social manner.
“This order reflects that Thames Valley Police will robustly tackle persistent offenders of anti-social behaviour.
“We hope it serves as a reminder that if people decide to embark on causing anti-social behaviour to a community, the police will utilise the relevant legislation available to stop such behaviour.”
