An award-winning photographer has dedicated a project to capturing the faces of Wycombe.

Mark Page, who was born and grew up in High Wycombe, is about to embark on his first solo art exhibition featuring more than 160 photographs of people from the town.

With the population of the town growing over the years, Mark became fascinated by the variety of what he calls “character faces” he saw and decided to document what he saw.

Over a period of six months, Mark invited people off the street to stand in front of his camera. Hoping for around 50 people to take part, the project grew momentum and more than 160 people – and several pet dogs – took part.

The result of the project – his first solo exhibition – will go on show from March 23 at the Mad Squirrel Tap and Bottle Shop in Church Street, High Wycombe. Entrance is free.
