New bollards have been installed near a railway bridge in High Wycombe in a bid to protect drivers and train passengers from possible crashes.
Working alongside Network Rail, the Transport for Bucks structures team have put around eight new posts in place on Priory Avenue, close to Wycombe Museum.
The purpose of the new bollards is to prevent vehicles from crashing into the bridge - and possibly onto the railway line which runs alongside the road - protecting both drivers and train passengers.
The Structures Team have also been working alongside Network Rail to install these new bollards on Priory Avenue in #HighWycombe. These bollards provide vehicle incursion protection measures for the railway, which runs alongside the road. #WorkingOnIt pic.twitter.com/i9NcsUTZpZ
