A former nursery could be redeveloped into housing, if new plans are given the green light.

South Bucks District Council has received an application to turn the site of the Miles and Miles Nursery, Beaconsfield Road, Farnham Royal, into a 17-home development by the Halebourne Group construction firm.

The Halebourne Group’s planning application said it was "envisioned" that a number of the new homes would be affordable housing.

The site is on Green Belt land, however the Halebourne Group made a case that turning the site into housing would help the council fulfill their housing obligations, as a needs assessment by Buckinghamshire County Council has revealed that 14,700 new homes will need to be built across the Chiltern and South Bucks region over the lifetime of the Local Plan
