A fire broke out at a curry house in Wooburn Moor on Sunday afternoon.

The blaze started at Memsaab Indian restaurant, which is currently closed - with signs on the door saying it will reopen under new management following refurbishment.

Firefighters say the fire is believed to have started in a chest freezer and attended the scene at 1.18pm.

Crews from Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross and High Wycombe used hose reels, thermal imaging cameras and breathing apparatus to bring the fire under control.

The curry house was fined tens of thousands of pounds for employing illegal workers in a Home Office crackdown on illegal employment in November last year.
