A yellow warning for snow has been issued for Bucks for the weekend.
The Met Office said a band of rain will turn more widely to snow early Saturday morning followed by scattered snow showers, which are set to continue throughout Sunday.
The weather service said any melting of snow that has settled could lead to an ice risk on untreated surfaces on Saturday, and travel delays to roads, rail and air travel are possible.
Some rural communities could also become cut off and power cuts could occur, while injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces are also possible.
The warning is in place between the early hours of Saturday until 11.55pm on Sunday.
