A woman who died in a crash on a major road between Langley and Iver has been named.

Iver resident Baljit Kaur, 44, was involved in a crash with a blue Yamaha MT-07 motorcycle on March 5 and sadly died at the scene.

The B470 Langley Park Road was closed for several hours after the accident, which took place near the junction with Lossie Drive at around 2.10pm.

The motorcycle rider, a 20-year-old man, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

An inquest into Baljit’s death has opened and a pre-inquest review is expected to take place on July 18.

Investigating officer PC Katy Kent, of the serious collision investigation unit, said: “We are carrying out an investigation into this incident, and I would like to speak to anyone who saw either the motorcycle or the pedestrian involved prior to the collision.”
