MENTAL health support will be key for one rail provider this year as Mind had been chosen as its charity of the year.

Chiltern Railways has announced it will partner with Mind to raise fund for the group over the coming year.

Mind director of fundraising Kathleen Miles said: “We are delighted Chiltern Railways has chosen to support Mind for 2018.

“Their support over the course of this partnership will allow us to continue to be there for people who need it, when they need it the most and to fight to make sure that everyone with a mental health problem gets the support and respect they deserve.”

In 2017, the rail provider raised more than £24,000 for Bowel Cancer UK and road safety charity Brake.
