Three Bucks train stations have made it into the top 25 in Britain according to passengers. 

Beaconsfield railway station was rated as the seventh best in the country, with 91 per cent passenger satisfaction, begind the likes of St Pancras, Reading and Birmingham New Street. 

Amersham came 15th in the list, with 90 per cent satisfaction and High Wycombe was 25th with 87 per cent customer satisfaction. 

Kings Cross tops the list of train stations with the most satisfied passengers (96 per cent) and Glasgow Queen Street was last in the list at number 56 with 58 per cent. 

Transport Focus spoke to 28,940 passengers at Britain’s rail stations between September and November 2017 as part of the National Rail Passenger Survey.

Results are based on the 56 stations where at least 100 people responded.

Anthony Smith, chief executive of the independent transport watchdog, said: "Investment in stations can improve passengers’ satisfaction with them when targeted at features which make a difference to their experience.

"Passengers’ top priorities for stations include arrival time information, waiting rooms and the overall look and feel of the station.”
