A Prosecco and gin festival will stop off in High Wycombe in an effort to raise money to help breast cancer sufferers.

The Big Pink Drink event will come to the Wycombe Swan Old Town Hall on July 7 to raise money for Breast Cancer Now.

Adding a "pink" twist to their usual Prosecco and gin festivals, organisers will be adding pink gin and fizz to the line up, along with games, giveaways, live music and entertainment on the day.

Organisers for the Prosecco and Gin Festival say: “This is a very exciting new initiative for us. We plan to provide a fantastic day out for everyone who attends, along with supporting a great cause.

“The Big Pink Drink Event hopes to raise much needed funds for Breast Cancer Now, whilst raising awareness of the disease in a relaxing and entertaining environment, with 100 per cent of the profits going to charity."

The standard ticket price also includes a free drink token which can be exchanged at any of the event bars for a gin and tonic or glass of fizz, plus an event guide containing tasting notes, serving tips and cocktail recipes for participants to take home with them.

Each bar at the Prosecco and Gin Festival will work on a token basis, which are priced at £5 each.

Standard tickets are £15.50 and include a free drink, a branded glass to take home, tasting tips and recipe booklet, plus full access to the event and entertainment.
