Pictures have emerged of a sinkhole that sparked an emergency council operation in Marlow this afternoon.
Despite the quick response by Transport for Bucks, who put up barriers and traffic signs, the damage to the road, at the junction of Dean Street and Queens Road, appears to be smaller than first anticipated.
Transport for Bucks took to Twitter to warn that the sinkhole was "5ft by 5ft" and urged users to retweet the message to warn drivers to avoid the area.
