Magician and comedian Mandy Muden will take on a pivotal role in this year’s Wycombe Swan pantomime, Show White and the Seven Dwarfs.

She will take on the role of the magic mirror alongside Strictly Come Dancing start Brendan Cole, who will make his panto debut in the show as the henchman.

The mind-reading semi-finalist, also known as Magic Mandy, was one of the first women to be granted membership to the Magic Circle in honour of her esteemed career wowing audiences internationally with her remarkable routines and quick witted quips.

Her skills have since made her a household name after appearing on ITV’s flagship talent show, Britain’s Got Talent (BGT).

Michael Harrison, MD of Qdos Entertainment, producer of the annual Wycombe Swan pantomime, said: “I’m delighted Mandy has come on board to star in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, especially given how sensational she was on Britain’s Got Talent.

“We’re thrilled she’ll be able to showcase even more of her talents and delight audiences this Christmas with all of her amazing tricks and comedy.”

On BGT, Mandy sailed through the early rounds of the competition, baffling the judges with her eccentric routines and delighting the arena audiences and those at home.

Following her semi-final appearance last week, Mandy won a standing ovation from the audience and all four judges, including the hard-to-please Simon Cowell who told her she reminded him of the late Tommy Cooper.

In addition to her stand-up, cabaret and cruising commitments, Mandy also appeared on BBC’s Dick and Dom’s Funny Business and as a mentor on Channel 4’s Faking It.
