A female pedestrian was injured after being hit by a car on a High Wycombe road.
Police and paramedics were called to Bowerdean Road at around 5.20pm on Monday afternoon to reports of a crash involving a pedestrian and a car.
The woman – who eyewitnesses say was laying in the road – suffered a knee injury in the crash.
The incident was triaged as a category three call by South Central Ambulance Service, which requires a response within two hours.
Paramedics arrived at 6.25pm and after assessing and treating the pedestrian, she was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital.
