Dance students from a leading performing arts school - world famous for producing international dance stars - will be performing at the Wycombe Swan this evening.

Students from the prestigious Tring Park School for the Performing Arts will be taking to the stage to perform Flicks and Footlights today (July 8).

Inspired by Tring Park School’s location close to world-famous film studios Pinewood and Elstree, dance and drama directors at the school have created Flicks and Footlights, an original production that uses the setting of a famous film studio in times gone by.

The performance will see students dance to movie-inspired pieces with music from the world of cinema to delight and entertain dance and film fans everywhere.

Tring Park School boasts a glittering alumni, which includes director and choreographer Drew McOnie, who won the 2016 Olivier Award for Best Theatre Choreographer for his work on In the Heights.

International star Daisy Ridley also started her training on the dance course at Tring Park.

The performance starts at 7.30pm - for tickets, visit www.wycombeswan.co.uk or call 01494 512 000. Tickets are £17.50 or £13.50 for under 16s and over over 60s.
