A south Bucks village has been hit by another field fire - just one week after an inferno engulfed a field in the same village.
Crews from Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross, Henley and Berkshire raced to Marlow Road, Little Marlow, at 12.23pm to reports of a fire in a field affecting an area of around one acre.
Firefighters used hose reels and beaters to tackle the flames, with six engines at the scene.
It comes after a devastating blaze in Little Marlow spread to 10 acres, causing chaos across south Bucks last Monday (July 2) with 100 firefighters at the scene and roads grinding to a halt as a major incident was declared.
The community rallied round to help raise money for a devastated farmer who “lost everything” in the first fire.
