Angry motorists have captured yet another overweight vehicle flouting the weight restrictions of an iconic bridge.

Marlow resident Adam Broomfield said he saw an Entoria&Coe lorry, branded by its previous trading name Coe Vintners, blatantly ignore Marlow Bridge's three-tonne weight limit and “deliberately” drive over the width-restricted bollards on either side.

He said: “It seems that these width restrictions are not enough of a deterrent for these drivers to stop using the bridge.

“These irresponsible drivers will continue to flout the law until more substantial restrictions are put in place.”

It comes after another Marlovian spotted a Highway Maintenance truck cross over the bridge last week.

The bridge was forced to close for two months in 2016 after a 37-tonne lorry tried to cross it, causing chaos for businesses, residents and visitors.

And last year, another lorry was left with burst tyres after attempting to get across the bridge.

Entoria&Coe has been contacted for comment.
