The West Wycombe Chamber Music Festival will return to the intimate setting of St Lawrence’s Church this autumn.

Now in its eighth year, the festival, created by the internationally acclaimed viola player Lawrence Power, has attracted some of the world’s finest musicians and this year, will feature five concerts and a masterclass.

The festival’s mission is to become one of the most “interesting, exciting and appealing” chamber music festivals in Europe, and one with its own unique setting and character.

Mr Power said: “It’s such a pleasure to welcome you back to the West Wycombe Chamber Music Festival.

“It is always a privilege to have the opportunity to share my musical passions with you and the many friends and colleagues who visit each year.

“Once again I’m thrilled to welcome back musicians that are now familiar names at the festival such as Simon Crawford Phillips, Adrian Brendel and Annabelle Meare.

“We will also be welcoming for the first time this year such acclaimed artists as the Norwegian violinist Vilde Frang, the Russian pianist Pavel Kolesnikov and the exciting new chamber orchestra ‘Collegium’.”
