A police chase caused chaos in High Wycombe at the weekend - as officers from the Metropolitan Police, police dogs and a helicopter tracked a driver all the way from Uxbridge.
At around 4.30pm on Saturday (August 11), police spotted a man, who was known to them, driving a vehicle in the Uxbridge area.
They pursued the vehicle into High Wycombe, where the man and his passenger abandoned the car in an attempt to flee from officers.
Drivers along the London Road were met with the sight of officers and dogs as police tried to locate the runaways.
The National Police Air Service said they located a "male matching the description in a park trying to look-but-not-look at us" as the dog unit conducted a search - and officers were talked in to Kingsmead Recreation Ground.
They were both subsequently arrested and taken to a local police station.
