The M40 has been ranked one of the best motorways to travel on - with drivers praising it for having light traffic and plenty of service stations.
In a survey of 2,000 drivers carried out by InsuretheGap.com, the M40 came second in the 'most liked motorway' category, coming behind the A66 in the north of the country.
The M40, an 89-mile trunk road connecting London with Birmingham, was given a positive rating by drivers because of a lack of debris in the road, the frequency of service stations and choice of shops and eateries, light traffic and not too many roadworks.
On the other hand, the M25 - which also runs through Bucks at junction 16 - was the motorway that received the most negative feedback and was rated the worst.
Drivers said there are not enough speed cameras, too much debris, confusing signage, poor lighting and "dangerous" junctions.
The M6 was the second least liked motorway.
