An 11-year-old was threatened by two boys on mopeds who were armed with a hammer while he was playing football in High Wycombe.

The young boy was in the skate park in Buckmaster Road, near John Lewis, on Monday (August 13) between 7.30pm and 8.30pm when he was approached by two people on mopeds.

The pair threatened him with a hammer and the boy's terrified mum says they told her son "I will kill you".

Fortunately, the boy managed to escape unharmed and ran home.

The first male is described as being black, wearing a bandana covering his face, a silver helmet and a grey and black tracksuit.

He had a skinny build and was on a silver moped with an L plate on it.

The second male was white, wearing a black jacket, a green bandana covering his face and black shoes.

He was of large build and was also on a silver moped with an L plate.

The youngster's mum, who did not want to be identified, said her son is still in shock from the terrifying incident.

She said: "I think the people of the Cressex area need to be warned as it could happen to their children, it has been a very scary situation."
