Waiting restrictions could be introduced to Marlow’s roads under new plans.

A consultation has been launched by Bucks County Council to ask residents what they think of the proposals, which could come into force in a number of the town’s roads, including parts of Gossmore Lane, Station Road, Pound Lane, Institute Road and Seymour Park Road.

Transport for Bucks says it has been commissioned to address “safety concerns” at some junctions and along some roads in Marlow following a review of waiting restrictions undertaken earlier this year.

Following this, plans for a number of ‘no waiting at any time’ (double yellow lines) and other restrictions have been developed.

TfB said the restrictions will improve visibility and help with the “safe passage” of pedestrians and vehicles.

Objections to the proposal together with the grounds on which they are made must be sent in writing by September 7 to the Parking Manager, Transport for Buckinghamshire, New County Offices, Walton Street, Aylesbury HP20 1UY or by email to parkingtro@buckscc.gov.uk.
