Seven men were arrested for apparent drug and firearms crimes after police swooped on different addresses in High Wycombe over the weekend.

Police raided homes in Hawthorne Road, Bartlett Place and Micklefield Road on Saturday morning.

Kamal Brown, 21, of Micklefield Road, High Wycombe, has been charged with one count of possession of a drug of class B and has been remanded custody.

Six other males, aged between 17 and 23 were also arrested for drugs related offences and have been released under investigation.

The warrants were part of Operation Stronghold, a Thames Valley Police initiative to crack down on serious and organised crime.
