Lane End Players present Audacity

5:27pm Thursday 17th April 2008

BEST laid plans go awry in Audacity, the latest stage offering from The Lane End Players.

Written by Simon Mawdsley, the black comedy revolves around a man named Philip, who is going through a messy divorce. Struggling to keep up financially, he devises a cunning plan to rob a London department store of its daily takings.

Deciding not to go it alone, Philip enlists the help of John, an ex-stationery salesman sacked for fiddling his expenses, and Dave, another salesman with a hugely expensive lifestyle.

All goes well until John and Dave's wives join forces to investigate their husbands' odd behaviour.

The Lane End Players present Audacity from Friday, April 25 to Saturday, April, 26 and from Friday, May 2 to Saturday May 3 at Lane End Village Hall. Performances 8pm. Tickets: 01494 881981 or www.laneendplayers.com
