A WOMAN was last night rescued after falling into the River Thames.
The woman, in her late 40's, fell into the river in Marlow at around 9.15pm.
High Wycombe station manager, John Bull said: "Somebody fell into the river and drifted over the Weir and was picked up at Marlow Lock.
"I don't think she was hurt. I saw her walking to the ambulance."
Two appliances and a rescue boat from Marlow Station was used, along with two crews from High Wycombe.
Station manager Bull added: "The boat went into the water but I do not think it was used to rescue the person. The boat stayed in the Weir area.
"The lock keeper and the police were down there and they helped her out."
