PRINCE Edward stepped into the world of film during his south Bucks tour.
The Earl of Wessex visited students at the National Film and Television School in Station Road, Beaconsfield, yesterday.
The seventh in line to the throne, who was welcomed by the town's mayor Councillor Henry Wilson and other dignitaries, chatted to second year students on the set of their graduation film.
The Earl, who himself formed a television production company, also watched an extract of a micro-budget feature film being mixed by sound students in the dubbing theatre.
He toured the school's recently-opened building, where he met students and staff from the producing, directing and screenwriting departments, before stopping off at the new David Lean Library.
He also took in a visit to High Wycombe's Eden Centre and new library earlier in the day.
