A MAN was treated for concussion after being punched and kicked in the head outside High Wycombe Railway Station on Monday.
At about 9pm the man, who had arrived at the station after spending a day in London, was walking along Amersham Hill when he was approached by three men.
They threw a drinks bottle at him and punched him in the head, causing him to fall backwards.
When he was on the ground he was repeatedly kicked in the head before the three men made off.
He was taken to Wycombe Hospital where he was treated for concussion.
Police say the first man is described as black, in his late teens, with a shaved head and wearing a bright yellow T-shirt.
The other two men were white and one wore a black shell suit with white banding around the bottom of the jacket and trousers. The third man wore a white or beige T-shirt.
PC Jason Gregory, investigating the incident, said: "This appears to have been a completely unprovoked attack and I'm keen to speak with anyone who was in the area at the time who may have seen or heard something suspicious."
