A NEW bus line serving Chesham and Great Missenden will roar into action next Monday.

The new T1 Tiger Line bus will provide direct links between Hemel Hempstead, Aylesbury and Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

Michael Wootten, who runs Tiger Line's parent company Woottens based in Chesham, said: "The launch of Tiger Line T1 is an exciting venture for us all and will complement our existing successful coach operation. We hope people enjoy this new and high quality service."

The new T1 service will run hourly from Monday to Friday and also on Saturday's every two hours, with a stop at Bovingdon market near Hemel Hempstead.

Valerie Letheren, cabinet member for transportation at Buckinghamshire County Council added: "This service provides a welcome opportunity for residents of Chesham and Great Missenden to get directly to Aylesbury and Stoke Mandeville Hospital on a regular, high quality bus service."
