Walls defaced by purple graffiti paint

A MYSTERY man with a spray can has been targeting Marlow walls with purple graffiti tags.

The vandal, who sprays the initials “D K J”, has so far struck in West Street, Spittal Street and the wooden walkway by Sainsbury’s in the High Street.

One of the surfaces that was spray-painted was the door post of the Cedar Coffee Shop in West Street.

Manager Jack Kheir, said: “I’m very annoyed because it was painted just a while ago.

“It’s not even art – it’s just their initials.

“I feel frustrated and annoyed. It’s Marlow – we’ve got to keep the reputation here and keep standards up.

“If a customer walks past and sees it it’s not very attractive.”

His brother Ralph, who also works in the shop, said: “They just come and spray graffiti on the side of the wall. They’ve got no respect. If you actually see it it’s an eyesore.”

SEXIST REPORTING

How do you know the mystery vandal is a man?

I agree - how do you know this is a man! And at least the graffiti isn't racist or swearing; could be worse.
