FLACKWELL Heath is set to welcome its very own Iain Rennie Hospice at Home shop.
The exact opening date of the new shop, in Swains Market, has not been announced but is expected to be sometime next month.
Stephen Biggs, spokesman for the charity, said: “We are opening imminently, hopefully within the next few weeks. We hope to have the shop up and running before Christmas.”
The Iain Rennie Hospice at Home offers care and advice for patients with cancer and other life threatening illnesses in their homes. The service is free of charge and runs through donations, fundraising activities and its charity shops.
The new Flackwell Heath shop will be temporarily open to accept donations next week, from 10am to 12pm on Tuesday, 10am to 4pm on Wednesday, and 10am to 12pm on Thursday.
The organisation is still looking for volunteers for the shop, and anyone interested should contact Rozina Ahmad on 01494 877200.
